I am sure somebody will find out... Same with term African and if it was used in the 1960s as a race. The term Afrikan was used the by the Dutch/African countries to designate the aboriginies (black) African in opposed to those from European ancestry. Kenya was a Dutch colony.

“Colored” was used in the 60’s, not “African”.
