Serious developments are afoot while the media chases after Donald Trump and Charlie Sheen.

Everyone, when the government removes CEOs from individual businesses, it reeks of fascism. I know BO did this with GM--and that was terrible. Yet GM was being "bailed out" by taxpayers. Here, there is no bailout--just business.

Another observation: big PHARMA got in bed with Obama in March of 2009---the lobbyists for the pharmaceutical industries were part of the SECRET negotiations (not on C-SPAN) to help create the Obamacare bill. Now look at what is happening: Obama is turning on his assistants.

We knew this would always happen: now THEY are finding out.

Draw attention to this folks...it was on the front page of the Wall Street Journal today, but it is a story that MUST go beyond that paper's readership. We are facing a Constitutional Crisis of Obama's creation: his domination of our market system must not be permitted.

“We knew this would always happen: now THEY are finding out. “

The lure of a GE type payoff is what drew these people to Obama. And I’d be willing to bet they knew the risk/reward.

Looks like CEO Soloman didn’t contribute enough to the Democrat Party or didn’t promise a kickback for their support of ObamaCare. That’s the Chicago Democrat Thug method of politics BO has done in the past.

The Big Pharma companies all caved and no doubt will be able to pay this protection racket, but smaller companies like Forest will just disappear. Perhaps one of the fat cat companies have their sights set on grabbing Forest, if it’s profitable. Crony capitalism and crony communism are kissing cousins.

The Department of Health and Human Services this month notified Howard Solomon of Forest Laboratories Inc. that it intends to exclude him from doing business with the federal government...

Well La-dee-f***in-da.

There's a whole lot of private business they can still do.

Oh, by the way, this is one of the horrendous side effects from ObamaCare: They get run companies from afar.

This doesn't just reek of fascism, it is fascism.

Ask the Chrysler bondholders how this has worked out for them.

Folks, pay attention: this is the economic aspect of FASCISM. Left unchecked, it will get much uglier.

/tinfoil

With all of the power that the Obama Cabal has grabbed and assumed, does anybody really think they’ll willingly surrender it in 2012??

Pelosi let it slip, when she remarked, in effect, that ‘elections don’t mean that much’....

It’s not FASCISM when Democrats do it!!
If only this poor fool had given more money to the Democrat Party, he wouldn’t be having this problem. He just needs to learn who his masters are, doncha know.

I was watching the Third Reich the other day. It was taken from home movies of everyday Germans as Hitler and the Nazi’s consolidated power.

In little more than 60 days H managed to become Dictator. And Germans partied down. UNTIL...
The campaign started to sterilize the “unfit” for procreation. Sort of like the attacks on Trig.
The most frightening aspect was a family who’s Son was born in 1933, the year the sterilization policies began over the years as he attended school was brainwashed into worshiping H and the Nazi Party. Parents were not to be listened to, and certainly did not have authority over the children. Eventually, the boy reported his parents.
But one of the first business activities was to boycott all Jewish business and businesses not friendly to the reich.

Everyone should have seen this coming. When Zero and his merry band of Fascist bailed out the auto companies who got kick to the curb. Stockholders and bond holders.
The unions made out like the theives they are.
I wonder how soon before Zero decides to replace management in firms. In effect ending stockholder power to choose the top executive.

Play with the Nazi’s and you still die like a Jew in the ovens. Some people will never learn that playing with the enemy gets you shot, frequently, by your playmate.

Fascists need an enemy to stay in power. Big business (oil, pharma, etc.) is the current enemy. This is a warning shot across the bow of other large companies that do not like the current economic environment and are beginning to speak out. Besides riling up the populace, it is also meant to be a step in subduing big business. Once these enemies have been subdued, another set will emerge. And the cycle will repeat itself.

This concept is not new, generally, but it appears it is being perverted somewhat. Currently, the federal government requires employers who bill Medicare/Medicaid to disclose if any employee has ever worked for an entity engaged in fraudulent activities (with respect to CMS). The employer is at risk of losing CMS business if they employ such an individual, but it's not automatic.

However, in this case, they appear to be giving the company a break (believe it or not). In this case, the company itself was the "violator" (let's assume they admitted some culpability in the settlement). If the government wants to take action, it should be doing so against the company regardless of who the CEO is. Instead, they are throwing the company a lifeline by giving it the option of cutting the CEO loose. Very strange.
