Wendy, Wendy. I am afraid you are overreacting here. What are the lives of a few people: kids, old ladies, mail carriers etc., when held up against the hours of pleasure this wonderful, warm, and friendly breed gives in the few short periods during which their owners are not incarcerated?

As our President might, think of these losses, tragic as they may seem on an individual basis, as an investment. I am honored to be the President of a not-for-profit .org that seeks Pit Bull Reform. It's all about love, Wendy.

When the owners of pit bulls are incarcerated, we think they should be able to share their cells with their beloved pets, especially if they own 2 or 3. Occasionally none of the occupants of the cell, human or canine can be fed, as prison budgets are tight these days. The pit bulls will manage, which is the important thing.

Can you cite any scientific evidence that this breed is more dangerous than other breeds?

And isn't it interesting that even as you blame the breed you cite a certain type of owner. Are you one of those folks who think if we kill all the pit bulls the ghetto posers and redneck dillweeds will all take up raising chihuahuas?

Why would we ever lock a human up if the breed is the problem?
