If it is a tobacco free product then what right do they have?

If you ask me The “Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids” ought to be heavily in favor of these devices and not want to hinder their use.

"If it is a tobacco free product then what right do they have? "

Because Limbaugh had a segment about E-cigs on his show.

The gist of the piece was that he used the E-cig in a restaurant and it upset people. The matre d' knew it was unlit but people still complained.

From what I understand they have nicotine and smokers inhale that but there’s no smoke. If they had been designated as drug delivery devices they could have been regulated out of existence. As it is, they will now face the same restrictions as cigarettes although it will be pretty damn difficult to prove people around you are affected by the second hand smoke.

Well, if we had been asking the question properly a long time ago, then they wouldn't. But now they do. There is absolutely NO evidence that the "right they have" will diminish or even slow in its exponential rate of growth.

On the verge of $5/g gasoline we are about to stop drilling over a sagebrush lizard. If they have the ability to tell a Texas oilman to close up shop what chance do you think you have when they come for you.

Reminds me of my bad old days when I'd take out the pack and shake a cigarette out and people would start that protest hack right away.

I'd just look at them and say, "You mind letting me light this before you start coughing?"

When I smoked, I had always tried to be considerate of others, but the Pavlovian responses made it far more difficult.

I’ve been an e-cigarette user for a year and a half.

The only thing friends and family are subject to when they’re around me is second-hand butterscotch.

Once again it proofs that the government really doesn’t give a hoot about your health, otherwise they would promote it as a substitute for cigarettes in order to wean people off tobacco. Just as long as the government collects the revenue.........

>>> US to regulate electronic cigarettes as tobacco

For those unfamiliar with the product, an 80 second clip from one of those Real Housewives show demonstrating it’s use. Bizarre and funny. The lady shown is Allison Dubois whose career is very loosely the template for the tv show “Medium”.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFfapfNUbH4

Some would suggest the show was called The Medium cause it wasn’t rare enough, and certainly wasn’t well done.

Those Pavlovian responses caused me to have one as well -- it became very difficult for me to continue being considerate.
