The truth is that boehner is just that stupid... he sits in the beltway talking to the likes of newt gingrich, karl rove and charles krauthammer... the guy is not sharp enough to formulate creative solutions... much less even think for himself... he is just doing exactly as he is advised to do. I find it all very treasonous.
