It turns out that military patrols, in civilian cities outside of military bases, on American soil, are not uncommon under certain circumstances. I didn't know this.

But.

The idea that this would be used, today, now, to acclimize Americans to martial law, is not farfetched, given the current administration and it's czars and refusal to heed the restrictions imposed on it by Congress and the Supreme Court.

That said, there is also the reaction of the military shills on this thread, which has been quite over the top, and abusive, and mocking, and packlike - the exact componants of an operation designed to intimidate anyone who dares be concerned - in America - at the sight of armed troops in the streets.

So, in the spirit of history, to remind everyone of what happens when the efforts of these shills succeeds, when they actually shut down their citizenry from pointing out disturbing actions by their government, here is a little trip down memory lane. THIS is what you are working for, against your own country, shills - THIS is why you want everyone to "take a pill" - so they will forget THIS:

And that's why, shills: NO - some of us will NOT take your damned pill.

Yes, Courtesy patrols have been used for years. It's been used to take care of servicemen an servicewomen to keep them out of the MP’s hands, in uniform when you could only leave the base in uniform.

None of the sinister things that you ascribe to it are true.

This conspiracy theory of the worst sort In my Retired Military Opinion and experience with actual Courtesy Patrols does not merit space on FR.
