Some of the best times in my life have been had in Mexican resort and border towns. Don’t know if I will ever go back. I certainly won’t take my kids there again.
I wouldn’t step foot in that country if they gave me the vacation for free.
I mentioned this to someone, and they said “Around the border is unsafe, but Acapulco and Cancun are safe, the tourists will be protected.”
Probably safe, except for the women who do your hair and nails while you sip Pina Coladas. And hope you aren’t getting your hair done while they are getting their throats slashed.

Mexico is reverting to its Pre-Columbian barbarity, and yet our government refuses to protect our borders.

IMHO any America who still goes to Mexico for vacation is simply crazy.There is no where safe there anymore.
The Mexican govt is whistling past the graveyard.
They have lost control of the northern states and the narco armies control some cities in the interior. There is a civil war going on right on our southern border and the rulers in DC still do nothing.
If DC bordered Mexico, the situation would be much different.
