One can be a statesman, and still be wrong. Bush also opened two wars when one would have worked, and spent like a drunken sailor.

Jesse Ventura was direct, bordering on crude, where did that get him?

That’s the flip side of your point, such as it is.

Ideally, a statesman with good policy decisions would be what you wish for in a president. Is that too much to ask for?

Two wars were fine. But we morphed into a police force when we should have brought everybody home once we'd acheived victory.

But yes, he spent like a drunken sailor. A "big government" conservative.

Finally, his refusal to protect America from the messycan invasion finished him.

You need someone with the BALLS to confront them and their ilk on every level. I’m no fan of Trump, but at least he has a pair... can’t say that for ANYONE in the GOP.
