Let us take a trip in to the way-back machine, through the fires of the Mainstream Media Memory Hole.
On this very date in 2008, when gas prices were 10% LOWER than they are today, Obama visited Indianapolis, and gave a speech PROMISING to lower gas prices, if Elected, and blaming Bush and Cheney for Americans paying $3.55 a gallon, the price on the sign behind him, for it.
Gas prices are running 10% HIGHER now, than they were in 2008.
WHICH OBAMA LIE ARE WE TO BELIEVE?
The one in which he said “Under my plan energy prices must rise.”
Or the one that said in 2008:
“High energy prices are the fault of Bush and Cheney”????

Obama’s very own Chicago now has the highest gas prices in the nation.
“CHICAGO (CBS) — The price for a gallon of gasoline in Chicago is now the highest in the nation.
According to the Lundberg survey, the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline in Chicago now stands at $4.27–a 12 cent increase in the past two weeks. And that’s just the average. Several stations in Chicago were selling gasoline for between $4.60 and $4.70 a gallon,...”

He says in one sentence that making profit is fine for an oil company, but in the next sentence he wants a “windfall profits” tax when they’re already paying tens of billions of dollars in taxes. Go figure.
