Obama Versus the Constitution(The piece of paper that yet may save us from tyranny)

I was a very eloquent article, and full of hope. However, the author gives way, waaaay too much credit to the dreamy notion that the Constitution is still recognized and valid. The author compounds his error by giving 100% of the credit for the blessings and success of America's past to the document, and 0% of the credit to Almighty God. It was God who was the author of our history, and God will pen our future.

It is a hard, and painful truth - but the Constitution has not been largely ignored for the past 2 generations (with a logarithmic acceleration of contempt during the present generation).

The courts, our politicians, simply give it short shrift and a modicum of acceptance with a blithe smile. Then a hand wave, and then a sneer of contempt.

As far as separation of powers, Obama has been emboldened to act as a tryant. I'll give several examples:

- stating he will ignore the ban on Czars in the FY11 Budget Law that HE JUST SIGNED. Congress has done nothing

- through Erich "My People" Holder, stating he will ignore the Defense of Marriage Law, signed by President Clinton. Congress has done nothing

- refusing to release documents in the Philadelphia New Black Panther voting rights intimidation case. Congress has sent letters of disappointment, and then did nothing

Our only hope is God (the real one).

"Give us aid against the enemy
for the aid of man is worthless
