I gave up on Cal Thomas a long, long time ago. I remember reading his colums around 1990 and thinking “Great”. But at this point any R who doesn’t want to entirely dismantle the fedgov and bring it back to Constitutionally mandated duties only - I have no use for them.
Well, I have use for them if they attack Zero where it hurts with courage. And no one is doing that. Except oddly enough Trump who is not a conservative.
So who the heck knows how this will get fixed. I guess by fire, or something.
I don’t really know Cal but by his rant I thought he was a lib or a RINO. Seeing how he’s considered a conservative - well, I’ll say he wore his mask for awhile. Why would anyone, other than a lib, trash Trump when he’s taking on a major problem, our Constitution being ignored - something no one else dare attempt. Forget about him wanting to be president - he should be praised for what he is doing now.
These idiots are putting the cart before the horse and it’s easy to see who really are ‘with us’ - whether it’s freepers, politicians, columnists or talking heads. IMO, they are outing themselves but will swear they are conservative. I find it odd - they speak of the weak backbone of GOP politicians to speak out about the BC issue but when a divorced successful businessman does - they condemn him because he’s divorced, gave campaign money to ‘rats and have liberal friends. Yet, Ann Coulter, who is considered conservative, with her snarky tone, trashes the BC issue. And her candidates of choice are anything but conservative. Just comparing Ann to Trump in this, Trump is closer to conservatism. Right now, the only ones I see standing for our Constitution is Trump, Sarah and West. If Our Country/Our Constitution isn’t important to the rest of them - who needs them.
