If I went into a public bathroom and saw a person of the wrong sex in it, I would immediately walk out and just go away.

If it was a man in a woman’s bathroom, I might - just might - alert a manager.

But, since I am a hermit and rarely go anywhere, it’s all very theoretical.

I certainly would never call 911. Nor would I beat anyone up. But I would feel so extremely uncomfortable I would instantly leave.

And if it was not a regular man or woman but a sick pervert, I would not only leave, but I would leave very, very quickly.

There is nothing wrong with being a hermit, if that is how you prefer to live.

I really liked your poem - a cute improv version on the theme of Dr Suess's "Sam I Am".

I do not want it in the park,

I do not like it in the dark.

I do not want it in the men’s,

I do not want it in the den.

I do not like it, Sam I am,

I do not like a woman/man.

I clicked on the reply figuring you had to be a Mom with small children and I replied assuming that. Afterwards I noticed your screen name and wasn't sure I had made the right assumption. Glad that my first assumption was correct.

Thank you for your answer.

Thanks - the “den” rhyme was poor, I will admit..

I used to be a Mom with small children. So you were pretty close!
