Ain’t that what I just said?
Seinfeld was pro-abortion too, very subtly suggested, the episode where Kramer asks his friends, “Come on. Haven’t you ever ‘slipped one past the goalie?’” referring to pregnancy. That episode ends with him happily yelling out the window about his new girlfriend, “She’s LA-ATE!!” Of course there is never a baby. I still like the show but I cringed on that one as well as about the horrible rabbi who tells everyone’s secrets to the world, and attempts to hit on Elaine...
Ew. That is so gross. I really hate that guy.
lol, that would be the headline if it were a GOP prez....
“President refuses to provide real birth cert... children hit hardest!”
An amazingly bad episode which was the final of the few episodes for me.
“....this was the first time ever that I have been given a political stand from him, even a nuance.”
Where have you been ?
One reason I never watched the show (I’d *heard* of it) was seeing Seinfeld do a guest appearance on a “couch” show; he spent his entire time trashing GHWB, who was then being challenged by Slick Willie, who Seinfeld thought was just the greatest. Given their similar whoriness, that should not surprise. That was 1992! He’s never hidden his politics.
I guess I’m one of the few people in the world who didn’t like the Seinfeld show and never ‘got’ the humor of it.
You put 4 or 5 unlikeable people together and, well, you have 4 or 5 unlikeable people.
Most liberal show biz types don’t have a clue, but it tickles me that Trump lashes back at these people immediately. Hah!
I posted before reading the thread and saw that there are quite a few other people who didn’t like the Seinfeld show.
My daughter and her friends loved it; had a party for the last episode, etc.
But for me, one encounters enough annoying people in real life to watch them on tv.
Hey Seinfeld! You’ve pulled out of a charity for sick and dying children because obama won’t show us his birth certificate? How classy is that? Liberalism kills.
That would be me. Funniest show ever. Politics played a very small role in most Seinfeld episodes. Incidentally, what shows do you find funny? Maybe we can agree on something.
Never watched that. Never watched the show Seinfeld til the mid 2000s. Went to his stand up show once in 2007 or 2008 I think. I never saw politics in that stand up show and the few appearances I did see of him were apolitical. Behind the eight ball perhaps with him. Was never a network tv guy. Still dissappointed for the first time and it’s too bad because I enjoyed watching the show when I did without that cloud of it just being another hollywood leftist actor.
David Letterman
You can say that again....and again.....and again.....
Oooh. A celebrity backlash. ~tremble~
I was shocked in the sense that Captain Renault was shocked to discover gambling in the casino.
