Aria said these two stunningly contradictory statements back to back:

“I think in theory the idea of universal care sounds a whole lot better than it turns out to be in reality and lots of people don’t get that right away.

I’m so sick of this whole idea of the government’s obligation is to take from those who work to take care of those who won’t - all filtered through an unmanageable bureaucracy and a putrid soup of political correctness and paybacks. UGH! It’s nothing more than tyranny by our “public servants” (what a joke that phrase has become)”

Do you not understand that any “universal” system will be government run and therefore the exact thing you hate in your second sentence?????????

That’s what I meant - if you’re not a real conservative and you hear “universal health care” and you think oh great - no one goes without. And I do believe that is what they think - with their pie in the sky view of the world.

But the reality is that in practice we inevitably end up with rationing and death panels as we’ve seen in Europe and England. The bottom line I see is government cannot make life fair.
