Sarah Palin will not be the first quality person to have made the mistake of loyalty to someone who gave them an opportunity. I wish it were not so, but if she denounced them or treatment of her by the McCain election team, many people including a lot of Freepers would excoriate her for that, and insist she is a whiner.
Of the two choices, I suppose I can accept that she remain relatively quiet about them, and when pushed, speak only positively about McCain and his wife. Not great, but at least it is a nod towards classy behavior. Hell, just saying that last sentence is enough to get me zotted these days.
After all they all just Politicians and Politicians play both sides to some extent to get as many votes as possible. And most of all, most of them are careful to chose their words so not to offend the the Undecided or Independent voters.
