“Perhaps this is a similar case where the perpetrator knew that two British tourists would be disarmed.”

They probably knew they were tourists because there was no other reason for whites to be there. I see how our cities in the northeast gloss over their crime stats, and it recklessly endangers people who don’t know better. You would think Newark, NJ is a great place to visit at all hours of the night in all neighborhoods; in fact a very small part of the city is like that.

Newark NJ, what a lovely place! I used to work there, 40 years ago, fortunately under arms. Now I am not sure that would be enough, one needs at least a shoulder weapon.

I recall one instance when going to my car at night wherein one of our ghetto trackers changed course on foot and began heading right for me. Once he got within my security zone, about 21 feet, I drew down on him and told him to walk on the other side of the street. He got the message and I safely got to my car, otherwise, I would have been one of those useless statistics.

I wouldn't think that. I know better.

My wife and I made a 12,000 road trip last year. We carefully avoided the states where I couldn't carry.

It was a shame that we had to skip Colorado and South Carolina. Neither of them will recognize an out-of-state permit held by a non-resident of such a state.

We did visit Vermont and New Hampshire by making a non-stop drive through New York twice.
