“Hold it right there. Isn’t halal-certified meat very similar to Kosher certification for meat, too?”
Not even close.

This thread is an embarrassment. Kosher and Halal don’t offend me.
If they offend you, I have two words of advice:
“Bacon-Wrapped”

This creeps me out. Glad we didn’t renew our membership when it expired. I consider the stamp to be a warning label.

Genuine Halal or Kosher stamps on meat simply mean that you are getting good meat, IMO. But to a Muslim, it's a waste of good meat because you (a member of Dar al-Harb, a dhimmi, an unclean infidel, a descendant of apes and pigs, an unbeliever unwilling to submit to the will of Allah, etc.) are buying it and eating it.

Exactly. I appreciate Kosher foods. They are usually good eats of high quality. Halal is something totally different. Muslims are pigs and their standards are REAL low.

If you love your Easter dinner guests, go ahead and buy it at COSTCO. They do have great meat, so they are doing a good job in serving their customers. I don’t know what has gone wrong in the American cattle industry, but they are not putting out great meat anymore I’ve been able to find.

Unless koranimals don't do the ha-lalalala-lala-la-la with pork products, I'm safe from their demonic taint.
Bacon, ham, sausage, pork chops and ribs etc... are my protection against muzzie contamination.

If you want your food sacrificed to a false god whose religion kills people at random for burning books or rapes women for dressing immodest according to their wishes, go for it.
Everyone else, feel free to think rightly!

Be sure to let them know why.
IMO, it’s wrong that they’re selling Halal meats without the appropriate label. While we no longer have our membership to COSTCO, it makes me wonder about our local grocery store and whether their meats are Halal minus the label, too.

I have a plan.
Go to Costco.
Get all the bacon you can. Maybe some good ham too.
Put it ON TOP of the halal stuff.
(Works best if some muzzie is watching)

I think St. Paul had something to say about this since in his day in some towns the meat that was available was all sacrificed to the pagan gods.

I don’t have a problem with Campbell’s Soup being Halal as long as it is prominently marked. I don’t think there is anything wrong with a manufacturer trying to appeal particular ethnic groups. It is the nature of product marketing to create variants for identifiable segments of the population.

Oh thanks a lot. Now you tell me. We just bought lamb chops at Costco yesterday and had them last night. No wonder I had that sudden urge to face toward the East. LOL!
