I take your point as valid. Sure, having a gun would have been a good thing for her. But she didn't and there are probably a lot of reasons, including that 20-something girls don't like to carry guns around (I know, I have two).

So saying "should have had a Beretta" is not the full disucssion needed.

What do you think we should be discussing, in addition or in place of the predictable "get a gun" comments?
