Deficit cutting will cost jobs on the short term.

Nearly have the federal budget these days is borrowed/printed money. Our “economy” is currently an illusion due to massive government intervention via false spending.

We can't get off the heroin of deficit spending without major pain. The liberals have nurtured and grown a dependent class of people in the US over the last 80 or so years. Many of these people think they are entitled to what they didn't earn and are unprepared to fend for themselves short of rioting and looting.

The thing is, if we don't cut all this spending back we will all go over the economic cliff to economic ruin together. The entitled class is going to be a loser either way so there's no real incentive for them not to take everyone with them if we let them.

We may be doomed, but this isn’t the stat that bears it out, as 56% say cutting the deficit would either create or have no effect on jobs. Only 29% say it’d cost jobs. That’s not a particularly pessimistic viewpoint, IMO.
