by Matt Schneider | 1:44 pm, April 20th, 2011 The conservative claws are coming out for potential Republican candidate for President Donald Trump. Not only has Congresswoman Michele Bachmann declared the story with President Obamas birth certificate is over, but now radio host Mark Levin is tearing Trump apart on his other favorite issues. Comparing Trumps thinking to President Herbert Hoover, Levin does not mince words for the man he sarcastically refers to as our new conservative hero. What prompted Levins outrage was Trump failing to defend Republican Congressman Paul Ryans budget. Levin played a clip of Trump on NBC vowing to always protect Medicare for senior citizens and saying I think Paul Ryan is too far out front with this issue, I think he ought to sit back and relax. When Trump instead suggests the budget problems could be fixed by taking on China and OPEC, Levin stops the clip and angrily yells What the hell does that have to do with Medicare? Does this guy sound stupid or what? Levin is outraged over Trump not having any idea about Medicare and demanded to know why when Medicare is going to collapse Mr. Businessman you want Paul Ryan to sit back and relax? Levin was on fire as he provided a series of arguments to discredit nearly every perceived benefit of a Trump candidacy. Suggesting Trumps proposal for a tariff on goods from China is as horrible of an idea as many of Trumps other past positions, Levin said even if all your supporters are going to give you a pass on every damn thing youve ever said or done Levin will not be along for the ride. And in his final parting shot, since Trump repeatedly argues his success as a businessman would make him a great President, Levin humorously concludes, if I follow your logic, Bill Gates ought to be President of the United States because hes worth ten times what you are too, and yet when it comes to economics and government hes an airhead just like you.Mark Levin On Airhead Donald Trump: Does This Guy Sound Stupid Or What?
Mark Levin is right...
... Trump sounds stupid. All liberals sound stupid.
I gotta wonder if these commentators and supposedly conservative politicians are trying to bury the obumber eligibility issue because they are afraid of the consequence if the truth ever does come out. You know, like open warfare in the streets or race riots.
Donald Trump is a liberal on too many issues, including his single-payer health insurance stance (just like Obama).
Mark Levin does his research, and has great instincts! I think Levin was the first one to endorse Rubio, for instance.
Everyone scoffs about trying to find perfection in politics. You want to know my definition of perfection on the issues? Listen to Levin.
“are trying to bury the obumber eligibility issue “
They might just think it’s better to spend the time on issues that will make a difference.
You have smart friends. Of course we are fighting democrats. But we are also fighting for the Republican party. We can’t afford to sit back and relax in that battle either.
Mark is digging his hole ever deeper.
Hey Mark STFU and let Trump do his damage to Obama re: the birther issue, God knows you don’t have the balls to speak the truth.
All MArk does is follow the WH and MSM lead concerning this issue.
You’ve got to be kidding!
If any man is steadfast at killing libs, it is Mark Levin.
Trump IS stupid and all libs ARE stupid
“God knows you dont have the balls to speak the truth.”
You’ve never listened to his show have you.
I agree that many Republican elites are insufferable. As much as I enjoy Levin, Ann Coulter, Beck and others, I begin to rebel when they try to tell me what I should think and who I should listen to. While they are conservatives, they are also elitists. Forty years ago, one of my university mentors assured me that elitists’ loyalty to each other transcends ideology. I have found that the one principle which makes the confusing clear is this: Elites take care of elites first.
I’m with Levin, I get it, but you’re right, the issue NEEDS to be dealt with whether or not Donald “the airhead” is talking about it. Bonus to Donald for bringing it up, but let’s get on the issue of the eligibility, not about Trump, which detracts.
Bingo!
Whats the status of congressional approval on the war in Libya for instance?
These guys are both good at what they do - but am also thankful neither one will ever be running the country.
If Levin would shut his trap to the same degree Trump might join him in, they might as a team on some issues might do some good for the country.
Donald Trump is so full of himself that there leaves little room for anything else.
I briefly heard Rush today and it sounded like he was backing off on Trump.
Anybody have more info about what he said?
Totally agree.
When your enemy is comitting suicide, step aside.
It’s not messy that way.
