The vast majority of black smokers I know like their menthols. Even I liked them when I had a sore throat and wanted a smoke.

Shaking my head. I see no reason they need to make laws like this. And their pay ought to be cut in half & frozen.
Can't they find something to do that might help the mess we're in? Maybe not, they screw everything up as it is. Who thinks these things up?

It’s my understanding that Menthol ciggies get their flavor applied to the paper - not the tobacco. Should some kind of ban be enacted, it would be trivial to get around. Look for some nice little cottage industries to emerge.

The Congressional Black Congress is 110% behind and pushing for the ban on menthol cigarettes....of which their targeted smoking constituents smoke a greater proportion of menthols compared to other populations demographics in the united states.
