CNN begins damage control -- "...even if Obama had been born overseas..."

Wow. Man, you are right. The back spin begins before Corsi’s book drops. Just in case....., since they aren’t sure themselves.

in spite of conclusive evidence that President Barack Obama was born in HawaiiThe conclusive evidence would be to produce the damn piece of paper.

Gabriel Chin is incorrect on many points of law. Typical law professor in the hired-gun role. Students of law are well advised to read the cases and make up their own minds.

The State Run left-wing media is preparing for Corsi’s book. They know that he is ineligible.
Watch the spin in the other direction if say, Schwarzenegger wanted to run.

The main question is whether his father was a US citizen when he was born. Not the simple location of birth.

Colonel David Hunt discussed this yesterday, a fill-in on Howie Carr's radio show. Hunt is an avid supporter of Obama and ridiculed Trump and his supporters on this issue.

I.E. Is he a first generation or second generation citizen. THAT’s what it’s really talking about. Schwarzenneger can’t be president, but his kids could be.
Because 1st generation citizens are more likely to harbor loyalties toward their land of origin.
So was his father a US citizen, or was he a citizen of Kenya.

"If this argument is right, then even if Obama had been born overseas, he is still a natural born citizen, because he obtained citizenship at birth through his mother who unquestionably was a U.S. citizen.?
Unfortunately this statement would be false in their writing since Stanley could not have transferred her citizenship since she was not a citizen for 5 years after the age of 14. That statute would eliminate Bambi as a US Citizen or a natural born citizen.
But, you are correct that they are trying everything in their power to cover tracks. Funny how they can work their journalism when it is against the people and for bambi....

There is also a "reverse" point, where the country of origin will lay claim to the convert.
This is certainly an issue with dual citizens. See the Kawakita case.

in spite of conclusive evidence that [He, PBUH] was born in Hawaii Its fun to make it a game to see how quickly each lame-stream article takes to get it wrong. In this case, first paragraph, mid-way 2nd sentence. One more time now: He [PBUH] could have been born in a manger on the white house lawn, but he can Never be a NBC due to his foreign daddy combined with Mom's age.

Yes, Thank you for pointing this out
One glaring error is if 0dumbo was born” overseas” his mother could not confer American citizensip on im. She did not meet the requirments

They go farther than that. They suggest it may be time to get rid of the natural born clause because Americans are capable of choosing their president.
The real debate begins now.

"...Never has this obscure restriction been more controversial..."
No part of the Constitution is "obscure" and it's only "controversial" to a certain segment on the MSM...
