Not quite. his mother was too young for her to confere citzenship on him. I've never seen this particular point before. Since my wife did obstetrics for years, and I heard stories, this begs the question: What is, in your opinion then, the legal status of a child born to two 16 year old parents? It happens more often than you think.

It happens more often than you think. My understanding is that she "was too young for her to confer citizenship on him" is correct ONLY if he is born outside of the United States. If born IN the United States, he would still get 14th Amendment based Citizenship.
