NO smoking, No swearing, No ENJOYING!
Non western education couldn't hold a candle to us until women took over.
They hold a grudge ( Men generally don't)
They have NO humor ( Men generally do)
They take life too seriously!
And YES, I'm talking generally, NOT specifically.
That’s why they’re “coming out”. The university environment forces them to hide in the closet.
My neighbor headed the Young Republican group at the University of Iowa when Bush was running. She recieved death threats, and if I recall correctly, she thought faculty were involved in the threats.
Many years ago, in the late 1950’s I happened to overhear a group of fraternity boys (presumably Republican)in the U of I student union singing:
“Franklin Roosevelt told the people how he felt,
they almost believed what he said.
I hate war and so does Eleanore, and we
won’t be save ‘til everyone is dead.”
I mentioned this incident to a liberal activist I knew. They laughed and said, “I wonder what those guys would say if they knew this was an old lefty (communist inspired) song from the period of the Hitler/Stalin pact”. At that time the left was trying to keep the US out of the war. Once Hitler invaded Russia they changed their tune real fast.
