I hear you. There is so much evidence, on such a variety of levels, as to what the Framers meant by NBC, it would take a large book to hold even most of it. I have seen zero evidence to the contrary: i.e.: supporting the idea that a NBC could be the child of a foreigner, could have divided loyalties at birth, or could be born on foreign soil.
There is one Obot troll who argues—notably ONLY on threads devoid of FR Constitutional scholars—that the 14th Amendment set the Framer’s intention aside. He is an a$$, though, and resorts to nasty personal attacks at the drop of a hat.
Anyway, it would be cool if the best Constitutional minds at FR would consider writing a book on the subject. The research you people have done is amazing. It really needs to be organized, and set out in a single reference book; it would be priceless. If only it could happen....
