Lady Gaga outrages Catholics during Holy Week with new single 'Judas'

Pop provocateur Lady Gaga has managed to outrage and insult many Catholics by leaking her new song, “Judas” just two days before the start of Holy Week.

"It's always edgy and always (about) our religion," Bill Donohue, spokesperson for the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, said about frequent pop culture attacks on the Church. "(And) all during Holy Week."

In “Judas,” Lady Gaga sings about her love for Judas, the infamous apostle who betrayed Jesus.

"Jesus in my virtue and Judas is the demon I cling to...I'm just a holy fool, oh baby he's so cruel, but I'm still in love with Judas baby," sings Lady Gaga.

As a proud and militant Catholic I am extremely worried about her interest in Opus Dei.

I know what you mean; some corners of Opus Dei can be rather precious and secretive. But I do know Opus Dei priests who are quite good at reaching celebrity types and kicking their butts, demons and all, to orient them toward eternal life, with excellent results for all concerned. They are not naive about egocentric people's vulnerability to the demonic.

I wonder what went on at their schools discipline-wise to make them both ‘snap’ at the church. . . we had a Mother Superior who was a Janet Reno look-alike who enjoyed paddling us.

The Gag went to Sacred Heart in Manhattan; it's a rich-girls' Catholic h.s. You can bet that these days there's no paddling going on there—at least not for official disciplinary purposes. (Ahem.) Just about nowhere else in U.S. Catholic schools, either. Discipline is way tougher in Catholic than public schools, but the punishment is not corporal.

Miss Gaga's psychic issues are so blatant and deep, they are obviously home-grown.
