This is a fascinating question:
Is it really still a mystery why political pilgrims are exterminated by the totalitarian entities they worship?

Corrie represents an older breed of protester who had the sense not to try to schmooze with the peoples she was purportedly being a heroine to. Arrigoni — well you’d think that at least Hamas would have been friendlier to a sympathizer, but in their paranoia took him as an undercover agent.

I presume the merry men of Hamas thought Sr. Arrigoni was so over the top he could only be a US or Israeli spy planted on them. Poetic justice for certain.

It seems that they are protesting Arrigoni's murder at the hands of the Palestinians by protesting against Israel.

Whatever the scenario... blame Bush, blame Israel, blame the Jooz, same old same old. At least they are such bumblers as to kill their sympathizers, that has to make other would be sympathizers think twice!

Here's an interesting commentary from "Pennie Quinton" (note her pic)...

Vale Vittorio Arrigoni, 'hero of Palestine'

Writing as someone who has spent a great deal of time in the West Bank over the years, these events [the murder of Arrigoni and others] seem alien to the Palestinian culture of resistance I have come to know and respect. Such actions smack of some kind of dirty war,

Only someone with severe head trauma could say something like that.

A dirty war made even dirtier... it couldn’t happen to a more deserving lot.

Does one need to excessively explain why “progressive” feminist Naomi Klein called out for bringing “Najaf to New York” in her infamous 2004 column in The Nation, in which she reached her hand out in solidarity to Muqtada al-Sadr and his Islamofascist Mahdi Army in the Iraqi Shi’ite stronghold of Najaf? Bringing Najaf to New York would mean that the Iraqi Shi’ite stronghold, where Muqtada al-Sadr and his Mahdi Army at one time ran their torture chambers and sowed their terror, would be replicated on America’s shores. What could Naomi Klein possibly see admirable in the vicious nihilistic terror of the Mahdi Army? Would she remain alive for more than sixty seconds upon contact with it?

Anyone who has served in the armed forces of this country and Americans in general irrespective of party or belief in the correctness or the unwisdom of the Iraq war should damn this woman for all eternity. Najaf in April 2004 was the site of a well prepared uprising by Sadr's Mahdi Army that resulted in many US fatalities and many more dead Iraqis. This woman is beyond the pale and some how that message should be made to her.

Here is an explanation of why they killed Arrigoni...

So just why did the Islamists murder Arrigoni? The answer is simple: These fanatics believe that everyone who is not a Muslim, and especially not a Muslim of their own particular fundamentalist genre, is an infidel, an enemy, someone deserving death. It does not matter in the least that the infidel in question has come to Gaza to assist the terrorists. In the case of Arrigoni, it did not even matter that he had tattoos on his body endorsing their terrorism. The “bewilderment” being expressed by the ISM and its amen chorus, along with Arrigoni’s Stalinist Italian groupies, is simply further indicative of how little these people know about the Middle East.

Yes, that is true. Sr. Arrigoni was indeed an atheist secular radical. These folks are Salafest so even if her were a Wahhabi he wouldn't make the cut. Further indication that the Paliwog Muzzies anyway are a lost cause. Their humanity is so completely distorted that they can't be recognized as part of the same species.

Wasn’t there a dumb girl who laid in front of an Israeli bulldozer not realizing the driver didn’t see her?

Yes, Rachel Corrie. Except she had to know it would run over her.

From the article:

It is no coincidence that Rachel Corrie, the infamous enabler of the International Solidarity Movement, a group that disrupts anti-terrorism activities of the Israel Defense Forces, committed suicide in protecting Hamas terrorists by throwing herself in front of an Israeli bulldozer.
