God bless you [again and always] dearest (((leapfrog0202))). Some of the courage of Sgt. Jason Rogers came through in his Mom, in how she handled herself with the media. God bless and forever we honor Sgt. Jason Rogers. The good folks of Brandon are down home real people. They’re precisely what *this state* that’s all too often unfairly and viciously maligned, is truly all about.
This thread is a keeper. I am grateful and thankful for its posting. The local TV news was impossible to watch with dry eyes, but I’m glad some of his funeral procession and his Mom’s interview received at least some of it’s most merited coverage.

Thanks Onyx *hugs*.
People make a lot of comments about ‘rednecks’ and ‘hicks’ but I’ll tell you, I learned early on that they’re some of the most patriotic, hard-working, God-fearing people in the country.
This is one more example of a town taking care of its own. I’m glad his Mom managed to do well. It had to be the hardest thing she ever has done or ever will be called upon to do.
