Inquiring minds regarding the eligibility issue simply want the truth to come out..
That's true. But at this point, with Obama having elected and inaugurated, "It is what it is."
I unambiguously favor a law in every state which would enable private citizens to adduce evidence questioning the "natural born citizen" status of anyone who runs in a primary for president (or, if such a thing existed, vice president).

And I similarly favor a law in every state which would enable private citizens to adduce evidence questioning the "natural born citizen" status of anyone who runs in a general election for president or vice president. Such challenges could include claims that the individual was born outside the country, was born of foreigners not subject to the laws of the US, or claims that the individual in question became a citizen of some other country. Such claims would be subject to definite standards of proof, and if vindicated in court would deny the individual the right to be on the ballot, or to have write-in votes counted.

That is a no-brainer, and anyone who opposes such provisions (or prefers to delay their effectivity until after 2012) doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Taking the “leap” from that to supporting Trump is just that, a leap.

It is hyperbole - but the example of Governor Schwartzenegger is certainly chilling.
Ann has been downright insulting to many Americans who believe something just isn’t right with Barry’s background.
And that is gratuitous.

Let's face it - any number of immigrants to America would make a better POTUS than Jimmy Carter, let alone Obama. That just isn't a very high bar. And nobody ever questioned the "natural born citizen" status of Jimmy Carter. So the "natural born" question is in a real sense a cop-out from the real question of why we can't always elect people whose mission is "to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity." That question is far more fundamental than a mere birth certificate check.

No it isn't “...what it is.

Anyone who loves this nation and stands with the Constitution and the rule of law will do all that they can to have Obama exposed for the usurper that he likely is. They will do it even if it is a lost cause. They will do it so that a precident will not be set for another unvetted occupant of the White House.

Anyone who pushes the idea that we should just let Obama slide by because beguiled voters gave him a majority is, in my opinion, someone with very dubious loyalty to the Constitution and the rule of law.

Regarding Jimmy Carter:

His natural born citizenship was absolutely self-evident!

Armies of witnesses ( relatives, friends, neighbors,) stood ready to testify of Carter's origins and that of his parents. These are people who knew the parents well, who attended baby showers and the christening, who visited the mom in the hospital and brought meals and gifts over to the new mom and baby. They watched Carter grow to maturity. And....It was manifestly self-evident that Carter, if asked, could provide a certifiable paper trail.

Since Obama doesn't have this highest standard of having Americans ready and willing to stand as witnesses for him, his birth origin, the background of his parents, and his walk through life, it is reasonable to ask him for certifiable proof that he is, indeed, a natural born citizen. We don't really know if he is even a citizen!

Fact: A **REAL** natural born citizen of America would be **HONORED** to prove with all of the very best evidence that he was a natural born citizen and eligible to be Commander in Chief. He would be especially **PLEASED** to do this for anyone in the military.

The Constitution says what it says regarding eligibility for the Presidency for a reason.

I’m sorry, but saying “It is what it is”, because Barry was elected is flat out wrong.

We either follow our laws or not. No one is above the law. This of course includes the unknown entity who occupies our White House right now.

Letting Barry get away with this garbage is just all sorts of wrong. I love this Country. I believe I and every other American deserves to know the truth. Here and now.
