An Arizona sheriff says he has been flooded with calls and emails of support from local and federal agents who back his claims that the U.S. Border Patrol has effectively ordered them to stop apprehending illegal immigrants crossing the U.S.-Mexican border.
“Upper management has advised supervisors to have agents ‘turn back South’ (TBS) the illegal aliens (aka bodies) they detect attempting to unlawfully enter the country … at times you even hear supervisors order the agents over the radio to 'TBS' the aliens instead of catching them,” one San Diego border agent wrote in an email to Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever.
“This only causes more problems as the aliens, as you know, don't just go back to Mexico and give up. They keep trying, sometimes without 10 minutes in between attempts, to cross illegally,” continued the email, which was among a number of communications to Dever reviewed by FoxNews.com. “This makes the job for agents more dangerous. Not only are the aliens more defiant, they also begin to feel like they can get away with breaking our federal laws.”
The email is one more than 100 messages Dever said he received from active and retired Border Patrol agents and law enforcement officers from across the country. Many wrote of what they said was their own experience and first-hand knowledge of Border Patrol’s efforts to reduce apprehension numbers by making fewer arrests.
FoxNews.com first reported earlier this month that Dever said several Border Patrol officials, including at least one senior supervisor, told him they had been directed to keep the number of border apprehensions down by chasing illegal immigrants back toward Mexico. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has recently cited a reduction in border apprehensions as evidence of an increasingly secure border.

PASS THE WORD---Here's one way Americans can protect our country against these invaders.
REFERENCE In 1996, Congress expanded the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) to include violations of federal immigration law.
1 While this expansion may not have received much publicity, it could potentially change the face of U.S. immigration law enforcement. Under the new RICO provisions, a violation of certain provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) meets the definition of racketeering activity, also known as a "predicate offense,"
2 and an entity that engages in a pattern of racketeering activity for financial gain can be held both criminally and civilly liable.
3 Among other things, the INA makes it unlawful to encourage illegal immigration or employ illegal aliens,
4 which violations were included as predicate offenses under RICO.
The 1996 law changes in the INA made hiring illegal aliens a predicate act of racketeering activity under RICO, but illegal hiring wasn’t the only violation of the INA made a predicate act. Other INA prohibitions made RICO predicate acts were encouraging or inducing illegal immigration, smuggling, and harboring illegal aliens.10 Together, these additions make the RICO Act potentially a very strong new tool in the hands of private parties against persons and companies that profit by violating U.S. immigration law.
Additionally, the RICO provision regarding the unlawful encouragement of illegal immigration could justify a suit against a private entity, such as a bank, that accepts foreign-issued identification cards that are only needed by illegal aliens.
One example of this, of course, is the matricula consular issued by the Mexican consulates in the United States. Since both the supporters of the matricula and those who oppose its acceptance agree that only illegal aliens have need to rely on the card, acceptance of the card knowingly encourages illegal immigration.
NOTE: Not one Mexican banks accept govt-issue official Matricula Consular card as ID to open a Mexican bank account b/c the MC bearer's identity is all but untraceable. MC cards are government-issued phony ID's. The Mexican govt designed MC cards to allow Mexican nationals (who violated our borders) to swamp the US banking system using multiple identities---to get on the US gravy train. The Mexican govt's objective is to weaken the US financial system, create chaos, and to ripoff US banks. US taxpayers are forced to pick up the tab for the resultant frauds........
Part of the legislative intent of the RICO laws in general was to afford private citizens a remedy for lawbreaking when authorities normally charged with such enforcement became derelict in their duties.
For example, in a town in which political corruption and racketeering activity have combined to the detriment of law-abiding citizens and the rule of law, the RICO Act was intended to provide private citizens the ability to initiate court action to compel enforcement and respect for the law.

Liz, your post is excellent and right on the money. The biggest predicate offenders are the banks such as J.P. Morgan Chase, Bank of America, and HSBC, all of which have sweetheart deals with Calderon and the Mexican government, all of whom shamelessly and blatantly cater to the need within the “illegal alien market” for banking and money transfer services. Also include Western Union which is the most blatant about their money transfer services to Mexico. What we need are some state attorney generals with stones and a DOJ that is not in Obama’s pocket to open investigations under RICO naming these entities as in violation thereof. The Catholic Church as a predicate offender also should be targeted, does anyone know if the Act exempts religious entities or not? It has a blatant open-door policy that encourages and almost commands all catholics to assist anyone who is an illegal alien in this country as a “moral” obligation. Indeed I have neighbors who are church addicts and who wear their religion on their sleeve. They regularly hire an illegal or an amnestied illegal for lawn and yard work who works under the table for cash for many property owners within the subdivision. People only see saving a few bucks by not having to hire an American who they think is lazy compared to the Mexican and Brazilian illegals as the only decision they need to make. An economic one. They have been brainwashed into thinking the marketplace is a benign regulator of interactions. They don’t link their economic decisions to any other consequences. There is just no defense against a citizenry that is mired in abject ignorance and stupidity. And has been propagandized and dumbed down by our own federal government in cahoots with Mexico, and the educational system, to the point of no return.

American officials should mandate proof for all cash transfers out of the US and/or force all transferring agencies -- banks, credit unions, Amex, Western Union to collect a substantial withholding tax -- say 50% -- on every unexplained foreign remittance. Calderon came to the US looking for a-n-o-t-h-e-r handout----$1.5 billion. If that was not enough, The US Congress passed legislation in late June 2008 to provide Mexico with $400 million and Central American countries with $65 million that year for the Mérida Initiative---to fight drug wars. The initiative was announced 22 Oct 2007 and signed into law June 30, 2008.

They can no longer stop, detain, question anyone about anything???
So if they ask me if I am an American citizen, like they did on our road trip to Sand Diego last week, I can espond with, “No, I am Japanese!”
