Donald Trump has a deal for the President: He'll release his tax returns if Obama releases his birth certificate.
The billionaire businessman and aspiring presidential candidate laid out the conditions for his financial records disclosure Tuesday.
"Maybe I'm going to do the tax returns when Obama does his birth certificate I'd love to give my tax returns. I may tie my tax returns into Obama's birth certificate," he told ABC News' George Stephanopoulos.
Obama revealed Monday that the First Family shelled out $453,770 to the IRS for 2010.
Presidents and potential candidates traditionally reveal how much they pay in taxes, but it's not a requirement. It's unclear just how much Trump - who has been bragging about his personal fortune in recent weeks - is worth.
Trump, who's at the head of the birther chorus, has seen a spike in recent polls. He repeated his doubts that Obama was born in the U.S., a claim that Stephanopoulos immediately blasted.
"George, they've co-opted you. Obviously, Obama and his minions have co-opted you," Trump said.

Spitzer To Trump: Show Me Your Money
BY Celeste Katz
Here’s former Gov. Eliot Spitzer on his CNN show, “In The Arena,” challenging possible 2012 presidential candidate Donald Trump to show him the money.

I got two questions:
One we have a buttload of Trump stories everyday yet no “trump” in the keywords header.
Two...why no one posting the Trump-Rove fight yet...man he laid into Rove with crap many here have been saying for years.
Gotta go make tax money.
Pawlenty also believe global warming is caused by man. He is a bit too green for me.
I am sure Romney has the first nickel he ever made.
But really, who would you rather spend time with? An ego maniacal man who owns a casino, jet airplanes and always has beautiful women around him? Or Romney?
Neither can win against Obama. So, it comes down to entertainment value.
I’m trying to stay positive - I do appreciate that it is definitely making more people think/aware that this has been an issue since before he was elected.
I’m just so tired of waiting for conclusive evidence/information to come out. I really, really hope this isn’t something that will transform into Trump stating, well we have our answer. He is eligible, lets move on. Trust me, if there was something wrong I would let you know. You know what I mean. I guess I should stop second guessing and just sit and take the ride.
More on Pawlenty The initiative was initially announced by Gov. Pawlenty himself see video at http://media.nga.org/2007/070912CI.wmv; in a speech during which he also bragged about environmentalist measures implemented in his own state which he thought led the way in this area, as he claimed the states must do since the Bush Administrations environmental efforts were then, in his opinion, not aggressive enough.

I watched Trump say a couple of times that he is going to submit a complete financial statement if he runs. He knows he will have to.
“All Trump is going to do is funnel votes away from the GOP when he runs as an independent.”
Gas the GOP done anything to actually ‘deserve’ our votes?
We are throwing them away ‘now’ because we sure aren’t getting much in return for them.
That’s why Trump is getting all the support he is. It’s the GOP/Republican’s own damn fault.
Edit: “Has the GOP...”
It's not possible to find something that doesn't exist!
I'd like to see Sarah Palin's transcripts (and I know they won't be perfect since she was paying her own way), and DeMint's if he runs, and Bachmann's, and those of any RINO (yeah, even Romney and the Huckster). Make a production of the fact that releasing records on their past is an important part of disclosure and understanding the whole person. Release a full, long-form birth certificate and a full college transcript on every candidate except Obama, and there will be more pressure to comply with the legitimate request to release the transcripts. That leaves an obvious hole if Obama refuses to release his transcripts, and even if he releases them but doesn't release the long-form bc.
[Note: I'm posting this on several threads because I think this tactic may make a difference in saving America and I want to hear feedback.]
It's the same part of the country where they have bumplebees.
So basically Trump isn’t really worth as much as he tells you he is.
“You dont just wait and see what happens.”
You’ve gotta know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em.
I would be surprised if such investigations as are or may be conducted per Trump are concluded, nor do I think they are limited to HI only. A little patience wouldn’t hurt. This will all unfold in due course.
Can you recall one other person interested in the eligibility question who has been interviewed on every major network and cable channel? There were several cases that went all the way to the SCOTUS with litigants, attorneys and interested parties. None of them got any coverage beyond WND. All stories in the MSM were spiked. Along comes The Donald and suddenly everyone is talking about it. If it were me, I’d keep them talking.
You can say that, but we better have a solid Plan B and C ready when the rats toss out a string of lies, a bone, or even prove irrefutably that Odumbo is an NBC. If he is an NBC after all this, we may lose the election on that alone.
As I understand it, if George Romney was born to American parents in Mexico or wherever, he need did not be naturalized to be an American citizen and whatever he did, he would not be a natural born citizen and was therefore ineligible for the Presidency.
I fear that Donald Trump will be to Obama what Ross Perot was for Clinton.
Why? It is NOT because all of a sudden the media is concerned about it, more like, all of a sudden they have been instructed to talk about it. Something is not right with this IMHO.
Kinda like scraping a wound and putting a handful of salt in the bandage.
