Green Bay Recall Office Burglarized
Story Updated: Apr 17, 2011
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Green Bay police are investigating after the office seeking to recall state Sen. Dave Hansen appeared to be broken into earlier this week.
Police say petitions, a computer and T-shirts were among the items reported stolen.
The Democratic state senator is one of many lawmakers being targeted in recall efforts over the state's ongoing budget controversy.
Police Lt. David Paral told the Green Bay Press-Gazette that the incident happened on Thursday night.

So the recall hasn’t happened yet, just the gathering of the signatures? A job well done, and cause for a party... but I don’t know if it should be called a “victory party” just yet.
Maybe a “Smells like... victory” party.
:)
..along with emails from the WH with instructions where to send money and who gets it.....was Sandy "I like paper in my pants" Berger anywhere near Wis.?
Citizens united has gotten the go ahead to collect signatures to recall Rick Snyder here in Michigan.
I take it as a response to those who are using bully boy tactics to try to demoralize the opposition. Instead of having a “Recall Office Vandalized” article in the newspaper, it becomes something a little more positive. Boy, do these hardcore union thugs like to mimic the Gates of Hell.
If the signatures hold, Hansen is likely gone. The Green Bay teachers have gotten a solid amount of bad publicity (taking full salaries after retirement for 20 hours of annual work) and Hansen has been facing the prospect of a popular former Green Bay Packer star (KGB) running against him.
More power to them. They are doing great work.
KGB! series! awesome!
The UNION THUGS have no such restrictions.
They only have a little more than a 10% margin on the signatures. Normally you’d like the number to be double.
It was actually impressive to get 15,000 signatures, as the district probably has fewer than 180,000 residents, and maybe half of them would be registered voters.
