2 more states confront Obama eligibility puzzle
WND ^ | April 18, 2011 | Bob Unruh

Posted on 04/18/2011 4:20:43 PM PDT by RobinMasters

Two more states are taking up proposals to require candidates for president to in some way document their eligibility to occupy the Oval Office, which is protected by constitutional demands that its resident be a "natural born Citizen."

Pennsylvania and Louisiana are launching debate over the issue that already has been in front of lawmakers in 13 other states, and has left one bill awaiting only the signature from the governor of Arizona, and another proposal more than halfway through the Oklahoma Legislature.

State Rep. Daryl Metcalfe of the 12th legislative district in Pennsylvania said it's just a matter of the law – and who must follow it.

"This legislation is intended to send the message that even those candidates who are running for our nation's highest office are not above the law," he said in his announcement about the plan. "Final passage of this legislation will provide additional levels of both trust and verification that anyone seeking elected office in Pennsylvania is just as much an American citizen as the voters supporting their candidacy.

"Requiring all candidates for the offices of president and vice president to submit valid proof of natural born citizenship documentation in exchange for statewide ballot access is a fundamental and long-overdue check and balance that must be implemented to further ensure that the Oval Office is never occupied by anyone other than a natural born American citizen," he said.

Hussein is between a rock and a hard place.

Personally, I believe he was born in Hawaii. However, I don't know who his biological mother and father are.

If Ann Dunham and Barack Obama are his parents he is not a natural born citizen, therefore ineligible. If his father or mother are other than Ann and Barack, it is a huge scandal he might not recover from.

Either way, a second term is looking more and more remote.

“Requiring all candidates for the offices of president and vice president to submit valid proof of natural born citizenship documentation in exchange for statewide ballot access is a fundamental and long-overdue check and balance that must be implemented to further ensure that the Oval Office is never occupied by anyone other than a natural born American citizen,”

Common sense but overlooked.

It would be nice for states to follow up with:

“Requiring all voters to submit valid proof of citizenship and eligibility in exchange for access to the ballot box is a fundamental and long-overdue check and balance that must be implemented to further ensure the integrity of all elections.,” he said.

The way this is worded might be subject to a legal challenge along the lines of preventing someone to exercise their civil rights.

I would suggest: “The electors of this state may not cast their ballots for any candidate that has not provided valid proof of that they are a natural born citizen and that proof has been certified by (some state official say the Secretary of State).”

The courts cannot challenge how a state chooses to exercise it’s rights.

Here’s my take on this whole thing. Any and all STATE laws that demand birth certificates as proof will be stopped by any one of the federal-level judges just like the Arizona illegal alien laws. Don’t forget, these federal judges are the libtards best friends.

Then, when appeals to any court, especially the Supreme Court are made, our Supreme Court, which is 5-4 conservative on most issues will REFUSE TO HEAR ANY APPEAL.

I don’t see any way out of this disgusting trashing of our constitution while this madman’s in office.

Therefore, Obambi will NOT BE STOPPED AT ALL AND WILL NEVER HAVE TO PRODUCE PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP.

If they can stop the illegal alien law in Arizona, they can stop anything with the SUPREME COURTS REFUSAL TO HEAR ANY CHALLENGES.

Great news.

It’s a damn shame that we need laws written for something that is already covered in our Constitution.

The court of public opinion is important. And getting info out to that court. That’s why it’s so disgusting that “conservative” talk show guys, pundits, and politicians’ silence on this issue, or worse yet, scorn, is beyond disgusting.

People are concerned and want to know the truth - look at the reaction Trump is getting.

This is interesting, and might explain all the trolls and Obots desperately trying to bury the eligibility issue.

From p.14 "Conspiracy Theories" by CASS R. SUNSTEIN

Full paper here

II. Governmental Responses

What can government do about conspiracy theories? Among the things it can do, what should it do? We can readily imagine a series of possible responses: (1)Government might ban conspiracy theorizing. (2) Government might impose some kind of tax, financial or otherwise, on those who disseminate such theories. (3) Government might itself engage in counterspeech, marshaling arguments to discredit conspiracy theories. (4) Government might formally hire credible private parties to engage in counterspeech. (5 Government might engage in informal communication with such parties, encouraging them to help. Each instrument has a distinctive set of potential effects, or costs and benefits, and each will have a place under imaginable conditions.

However, our main policy idea is that government should engage in cognitive infiltration of the groups that produce conspiracy theories, which involves a mix of (3), (4) and (5).

QED, I think, and greetings to all paid trolls and Obots!

I wonder how many people do not “believe” in G-d but believe Obama was born in HI.

Bravo to every state pushing these laws through!! We NEVER want to be in this position again, and we cannot trust the media nor the federal government.

Look, I understand your anger and frustration. I am having trouble formulating a reply that makes sense and sticks to known facts, since there are so few, but here goes.

There are four suspects for the father, Frank Davis, Stanley Dunham, Barack Sr., or John Doe who would have been black. There are two suspects for mother, Anne Dunham or Jane Doe who would have been black. You can make a case for several of these pairings, as long as one is white and one is black.

All of these actors were in Hawaii at the time. Notwithstanding claims to the contrary, it is hard to imagine a very young American girl in 1961 traveling to Kenya late in her pregnancy to give birth, then rushing back to America to attend school in Washington State. That's a lot of traveling for a young mother in 1961. I believe he was born in Hawaii.

I think the reason we haven't seen the birth certificate is that the name on it is "Steve Dunham". Which brings us back to the original question. Who is the biological mother and father.

If your definition of "natural born citizen" is: "one born of parents, both of whom are American citizens", then the narrative Obama has issued means he is ineligible to be president. It doesn't matter where he was born.

Ironically, if you leave Barack Sr. out of any of the pairings, the origins of his birth become merely embarrassing, and do not disqualify him.
