President Obama called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday to wish him a good start to Passover, White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters.
Telling Bibi that he would host a seder at the White House, Obama expressed hope that the Israeli people would be able to celebrate in peace, Carney said.
Obama also congratulated Netanyahu on an impressive technological achievement the Iron Dome defense system, for which Obama recently approved $205 million in funding, Carney said.

Passover starts today at sundown. Not sure what time today in DC the sun went down in Jerusalem

Bibi should have sent his call to voicemail.
Think he'll call the pope on Easter?
He can't because muslims don't believe that Jesus was crucified nor that He rose from the dead. So we'll hear about bunnies on Easter morning.
They know it’s just for show.
Isn’t that special?

If I were Bibi, I’d put all troops on alert...getting a call from (.)bama on the eve of Passover is akin to getting a call from Assyad on the eve of Yom Kippor in 73.
...and don’t forget he is running for re-election in 2012.
Obama never ceases to amaze with his phoniness. As if he’s ever supported Israel.
All comments on social media are being monitored through Bluefin Labs for “effectiveness” of campaigns (adverstising and no doubt political). Don’t doubt the powers that be (obama’s puppetmasters) are using this technology to manage his Jewish/Muslim problem as well as all other matters.
Any reports as to WHAT he called him?
And the voicemail message should have said: "'I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!"
It is 10:35 p.m. in Jerusalem or or 19:35 in Jerusalem now by their time.
Oops! My mistake. I mean 20:35 by their type of time keeping.
Hope Bibi told him to *%$^#!#^@!
The next Gaza flotilla is on the 15th of next month. I believe the call to rush Israel’s borders is next month as well.
Sharpton and Farrakhan will not like this.
They probably green-lighted it.
