Here we go. I'm really sick of this. In every poll of life issues, life wins hands-down. When they make it about "choice"... life still wins... but it's closer. Lies and obfuscations are the tools of the left. I won't be bated by another false choice. Those independents will not break entirely to the liberal side if we take (and articulate) a strong pro-life message. They could break down the middle, but they won't go entirely one side or the other. On the contrary, I would argue that most Americans recoil from the luke-warm panty-wastes unable to take a moral stand that we are offered election after election. We want a Reagan and you continue to compromise us into a Schwartzen-Kennedy.
Is that what you want? If so, then don't kid yourself about your prospects for winning.

You see, you recognize this yourself - that turning the Tea Party into another pro-life group will dilute the support.
What we must never forget is that the Tea Party is one large taxpayer lobby group. It is the ONLY lobby group speaking out directly on behalf of ALL taxpayers regardless of political lines. If conservatives, of which I am one and doggedly pro-life, try to turn the Tea Party movement into a distinctly pro-life lobby, it will reduce it’s impact on government spending and fragment the Tea Party momentum.
Millions of American voters want the insane spending and taxation by our governments to stop - that will also stop the spending by the government on social issues as well. Independents involved in the Tea Party will support cutting government funding to Planned Parenthood, the NEA, the Dept. of Education, the EPA, etc., because all these things are tremendous drains on the taxpaying American - things we can no longer afford.
Getting the fiscal house in order IS the Tea Party. Millions of Tea Partiers happen to also be pro-life, pro-second amendment (pro-gun), and anti-illegal alien - others are not, but what unifies us is stopping the out of control spending. Get the spending under control and that will help greatly to stop the spending on social/moral issues as well.
