TEA = Taxed Enough Already

I am a strong conservative.. But I also understand what the TEA in TEA Party stands for... And, thankfully, the majority of Tea Partiers feel the same as what I feel about the government intrusion.

If this is what it takes to bring the true Democrats/Libertarians/Conservs together, then let it happen..

We need out country back...

I would point out the first tea party people did not limit themselves purely to tax issues. There were many taxes they were complaining about, but beyond that it was far, far more, no representation, troops being quartered in citizens’ houses, abuses of power by british governors on all different kinds of matters, abuses of justice in the legal systems run by british judges, not allowing bibles to be printed on colonial soil, not being allowed to abolish slavery in colonies while they were still under british rule, etc.

These kinds of events were not just because of economics but because of EVERYTHING they were doing. And as I have said before all issues have both economic and societal impacts and you can’t just compartmentalize ANY issue to just one or the other. Economic policy always has a social moral behind it, whether it’s good or bad or whether you see it or you don’t. All economic decisions are social morals in money policy.

That is not what it stands for.

It stands for a return to our founding principles which would include a return to traditional American Values.

The Tea Party is simply a revolution against Federal Statism and a return to a Constitutional Republic. That being said, one of the stated rights in the Constitution and in traditional America is the right to life. Abortion was a crime at the time of the founding and continued to be a crime in nearly all states until the 7th Decade of the 20th Century, when by an act of Judicial Tyranny women were suddenly granted the right to murder their own children in the name of "Civil Rights".

Yes we are taxed enough already, but the Tea Party was a reaction to run away regulations and spending and the destruction of State and Local Sovereignty and it was not a response to an increase in our taxes. Indeed, among those whom the liberals want to tax more (those making over $250,000 a year), I dare say that most of them would not identify with the Tea Party Movement. They tend to belong to the Wine and Croissant Party.

If abandoning the unborn is what it takes to win, this country deserves to die. Taking our country back also includes defeating the immoral and evil people, including so-called conservatives or libertarians that think killing babies is okay. I'm tea party but I will fight anyone to keep them from getting the nomination that is a social liberal. A conservative who is pro-abortion, pro-gay,etc is just as evil as any liberal. They are responsible for destroying our country, fiscal considerations aside.
