If you can figure out a way for the government to REPAY the money that people have paid into programs like Social Security and Medicare, I'm all for it. But I don't see that happening.

Otherwise if you simply abolish them, we are in a position of taking money that people paid into these programs and using that money to expand the government somewhere else.

That being said, the REASON that Social Security and Medicare are on the verge of bankruptcy is because an ENTIRE GENERATION of taxpayers who would fund it was murdered. Without Roe v. Wade, Social Security and Medicare would be solvent.

They why is irrelevant since it changes nothing of what is going on now.

I have paid top $$$ into these socialistic programs and I know that there isn’t a chance in hell that I will see the money. It was also a ponzi scheme since if they had really thought about it then there should have been money taken out for years in order to fund it. They didn’t. Furthermore, members of both parties, conservatives and liberals alike have used the excess cash to fund the steady growth in government. But again, that’s all water under a bridge. The only way forward that does not obligate me or my kids and their kids to pay for someone else is to abolish it now.

He wants the money that we paid into the system to do with what he will. That's my money, and I want it back! If one uses the government to rob one's fellow citizens, what then is the difference between the individual and the government?

It's a crime.
