1.7 million does not sound like a lot. How many theaters was it playing in? I could not get a ticket this weekend. The only two theaters near me playing it were all sold out the whole weekend.

@ $5500 per screen... if they rolled out to 2000 screens, they have brought in $11m on a single night. possibly $20m+ the weekend
