Good evening, Pro...((HUGS))...a beautiful, sunny day here.
Finished shopping and tackled computer clean-up, ever ongoing. But I’m making good progress on my task for this weekend.
Still raining, huh? Glad you are staying out of it. Are the meds winning the battle?

Sheesh, yes, I am finally over the "Crud".
This week is suppose to clear up down here so hopefully we'll be able to get the fields ready for the kids to play games!

A Blessed Lord’s Day to you, teen.
Has your rain finally stopped? It was beautiful here today.
My folks are doing really well. My Dad is driving some, starting to rake the lawn, and eating well. I still have to monitor his meds...I let him go it alone for a week, but he missed a couple days, so we are doing them together again. And the mental load lifted off my Mom’s shoulders is great.
Hope your weekend is going well, without to much of “those things”. *HUGS*

Dear Heavenly Father,
God of all goodness,
Look with love on those who wait for the safe return of their loved ones who serve in the armed forces of America.
In faith and hope, we turn to you for help and comfort.
Grant that we may trust in your mercy and send an angel to sustain us as we await their safe return.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
In Jesus Name,
Amen

Dear Heavenly Father,
Our almighty and eternal God
I pray for the safety of our American Soldiers.
Protect our soldiers as they do their duties.
Protect them and keep them safe from all evil and harm.
May the power of your love enable them to return home safe.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
In Jesus Holy Name I pray,
Amen

Rain has stopped for now! :)
Absolutely beautiful today! Hopefully, it stays for a while.
The un-named things were very, very, mild today!
So good to hear the folks are doing well. I pray it continues!

FREEDOM IS NOT FREE
I watched the flag pass by one day, it fluttered in the breeze, A young marine saluted it, and then, he stood at ease. I looked at him in uniform, so young, so proud; with hair cut square and eyes alert, he'd stand out in any crowd. I thought how many men like him, had fallen through the years.
How many died on foreign soil? How many mother's tears? How many pilot's planes shot down? How many died at sea? How many foxholes were soldiers graves? NO, freedom is not free I heard the sound of taps one night, when everything was still. I listened to the Bugler play, and felt a sudden chill.
I wondered just how many times, that taps had meant "amen". When a flag had covered a coffin, of a brother or a friend. I thought of all the children, of the mothers and the wives, of fathers, sons, and husbands, with interrupted lives.
I thought about a graveyard, at the bottom of the sea, of unmarked graves in Arlington, NO, freedom is not free.

The kittens love their new kitten room, flooring and all! They got spayed and neutered yesterday, so they are still recovering ~ they go up for adoption next Saturday. (So I've only got one more week with the cute little fluffballs.)
I'll be off biking for a few weeks or more ~ I've got a hairline fracture in my left hand (just happened) .... so no biking for a bit for me. OUCH.
My wonderful DH heads out of state tomorrow morning first thing (Sunday) for training in Texas ... so I will hold down the fort ~ with the kitties ~ while he's gone. But we're expecting really nice weather here, yay! (He may see the 90s in Texas!)
The world's cutest foster kittens ...

How prescious is that! I just love the photo of them sleeping on that what-you-call-it bed. Easy to see they are loving it!

That fun giraffe pillow is actually an extra large pillow pet .... we thought it was cute and that it would match our fun room with yellow walls :)

They are cute! Do I count 4?
Sorry about the hairline fracture....be really careful so it doesn’t get to be major.
Hubby could be quite warm in Texas...hopefully he will be nowhere near all the fires. All the bases I would expect to be protected.
