Trump addresses tea party crowd in Boca Raton (hundreds gathered)

Sounding increasingly like a candidate, Donald Trump repeatedly told a raucous tea party crowd today he has the qualities needed in the White House and the conservative ideals necessary to seal the Republican nomination should he decide to run.

Trump struck familiar themes and talked about his own business acumen in his speech to hundreds gathered at a park here, where his name festooned signs, buttons and T-shirts of supporters. The real estate mogul even talked about the type of people he'd have serve as diplomats and said he was looking forward to releasing his financial disclosures.

"Most very successful people, the kind of people that we need running our country, don't want to be scrutinized and abused," he said. "This is the kind of person that this country must have right now."

He derided President Barack Obama, calling him the worst to occupy the White House in history. He again questioned whether the president was born in the U.S., even though the fact has been affirmed by officials in Hawaii, where Obama was born. And he maligned China, saying the U.S. should take control of Iraqi oil and described American infrastructure as third world.

Trump ticked through a number of issues seen as bedrocks for conservative candidates, saying he is anti-abortion, against gun control and wants to repeal Obama's health care law. Throughout the speech, he portrayed the U.S. as a nation in decline and himself as its potential savior.

I know that and that exposes him as a fraud and danger to Republicans. If he truly was concerned with defeating Øbama, whether or not he was the candidate, he’d be running as the Democrat that he truly is , instead or running from talk show to talk show reciting anything and everything he believes Republicans want to hear whether he truly believes what he is saying or not.

Wrong, the other night you were whining about me picking on your guy, the Trumpster.

Follow my posts on FR, when the list is finalized, beyond Herman Cain that is, you'll be the first to know.

“C’mon, you don’t expect anyone here to not know why Sarah Palin resigned as Governor now do you? Please. Throw away the Kool Aid, it hasn’t been the drink of choice for anyone but liberals for years.”

Its is childish little remarks like these that will not convince me or anyone to support her.
Oh yes..wasnt she that said that the BC issue was a distraction even an annoyance?

Trouble is, look at how many ‘conservatives (ahem)’ would vote for Trump!

I would say BOTH Bush and Trump are NE RINOs according to the way the term is tossed around here. I don’t know that being shipped off to Andover at 13, then on to Yale and Harvard, fits the profile of most folks ‘raised in Midland/Houston, TX.’

FYI, Trump was neither born in nor spent his entire life in “New York, New York.” You are obviously not familiar with New York City. Trump was born in Jamaica, (Queens) NY, where he was raised. That is a 30 minutes subway ride but light years away from where he lives today in New York, (Manhattan) New York.

Jamaica’s demographics have changed dramatically since Trump was raised there, but it was a middle-working class neighborhood through the 60s. It was home to many NYPD, FDNY, shop keepers, salesmen and the like. As I understand it, Trump’s father did well in land development, but nowhere near the level to which The Donald has taken his enterprises. And, Trump certainly does not come from the same Northeast Elite that the Bushes and Pierces do. Not by a long shot.

I give a ton of credit to George and Barbara Bush for leaving CT to settle in TX. But let’s not pretend they are just ‘down home’ folks. They are not, and neither is their son, tho he is more so than they.

Why yes, yes I was. I also said my new hobby would be following you around on FR and kicking your butt. Frankly, I decided not to. But if you just want to throw down, I'm your huckleberry.......since you can't shut up.......

IMO/FWIW
Until she actively attacks birthers like Coulter or Beck did, I find far more reasons to maintain my support for Palin than not. I do not agree with her on that issue at all, but we don’t have to be lockstep on ‘every’ subject.

Should she ever turn on her base like Beck/Coulter, I have little doubt many of us will quickly reevaluate that position.

I am under no illusion that GWB is 'down home' but he is more so than Trump will ever be, regardless of his lack of spine and reckless spending. Trump is no saint when it comes to financial issues either.

Bush has been staunchly pro-life, pro-2A and pro-marriage from the get go. His last 3 years in office were a financial nightmare.

The only thing childish is your comment calling my remark childish. You shouldn’t need anyone to convince you to support any candidate. Look at the record. Her record is one that most so called conservative candidates can only dream about having.

Again, do some research on what Governor Palin has said regarding the BC issue. The truth is out there, just don’t look on the Huffington Post or DU and come back here telling us that you found the truth.

If you can’t find it, or are too lazy to look, post what you find at the Huffington Post and I’ll make the corrections for you.

Historically, the Dems were DUE to take the WH in ‘08. GHWB was the first exception of a VP being elected after a 2 term POTUS in something like 125 years. You could have bet on it happening again. But McCain-Palin were ahead in the polls till the economic collapse in ‘08. Not that that’s worth a damn.

Well, I still firmly believe the collapse of September 2008 was artificially created by Soros.

Palin made a mistake when she said that and I think she has learned a lesson

Now tell me why did it take Donald Trump 64 years to "learn" that if you are pro choice then you are pro murder?

Would you please tell me what ‘great conservatives’ believe? Thanks in advance.

What a badass! I'll ask you again, who of the declared presidential candidates are you supporting? You disrupt and you troll, but the answer is, you're too f'ing stupid to even have a clue at this early time.....

Yes! Yes! Thank you. This is what I’m trying to tell people. He didn’t do squat for any Tea Party candidates, anywhere.
