EPA official says jobs don’t matter

The Obama administration has repeatedly said job creation is a top priority, but apparently the memo seems to have missed the bureaucrats at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

This became evident when EPA Assistant Administrator Mathy Stanislaus testified Thursday before an Environment and Energy subcommittee hearing that his agency does not take jobs into account when it issues new regulations.

“We have not directly taken a look at jobs in the proposal,” Stanislaus said, referring to a regulation that would govern industries that recycle coal ash and other fossil fuel byproducts.

Coal ash is commonly used to make concrete stronger and longer lasting, make wallboard more durable and improve the quality of roofing shingles.

Stanislaus made his comments in response to questioning by Colorado GOP Rep. Cory Gardner looking into whether the EPA is complying with a recent presidential executive order and considering jobs in its regulatory regime. The EPA issued a April 30, 2010 statement in the appendix of its regulatory impact analysis for proposed regulation under the Resources and Recovery Act (RCRA) of coal ash.

We can’t really expect a bunch of fascist, government bureaucrats to worry about the jobs lost by “the little people”. We’re just “collateral damage” resulting from their communist “revolution” and their war on freedom.

The next step is that humans don't matter and the view of the loon left that the planet could heal if only there were no people.

EPA official says jobs don’t matter.

Excellent. Then the people who work at the EPA won't mind if we fire them.

Let’s see to it that this shitbird is fired from his cushy government job and then ask him about if jobs matter.

If you defund the EPA, construction in the USA halts. Can’t get an EPA permit? Too bad, then you can’t build it.

Think about it.

It doesn’t need to be defunded, it needs to be repealed...

The head of the EPA, Lisa Jackson, is giving a speech soon. On flyers, she is heralded as “The Honorable Lisa Jackson”

What???? Didn’t America fight a war to not have some people with high-and-mighty titles like that? Is she better than other Americans?

That’s the kind of title they have in England for “Lords”.

Good! Then the frogs will feel the water heating up too fast for their comfort.

This jackass is a perfect example of the out of touch with reality, liberal government bureaucrat stooges in this country. And the EPA is full of them. One of my neighbors is a marine biologist who works for the EPA on Sabine Island and he says that politics drives 75% of what they do. It has not always been that way, but it sure is now. Agendas rule the day. If he did not have 19 years with them already he would split. I think when he gets his 20 he will though.

These UNelected bureaucRATs have too much power. Congress needs to take back power to enact rules and regs.

All I can say is the next Republican president better clean house but good. Perhaps a house cleaning czar and a squad with vacuums and brooms is in order.

If I were him, I’d keep an exact diary of those politics for my last year of service, and then publish them in retirement. Sure it’s a pebble in the water, but that’s the kind of thing it’s going to take to wake people up. I know I’d read it.
