Good post, but it’s hard convincing 3 year olds there’s no Santa Claus.
hahaha...despite the full force of the RNC, DNC, mainstream media and White House operatives Trump is kicking their ASSES.
Yay! Universal Health Care!
And there is only 1 reason for it. Trump is taking to fight to Obama, he is not sitting back hemming and hawing. He telling all how the cow eats the cabbage.
BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Donald Trump says he's getting more serious about his run for the presidency in 2012. The real estate mogul will be the keynote speaker at at the third annual Tax Day Tea Party Rally on Saturday, April 16, 2011, from 1:00-2:30 pm in Sanborn Square in Boca Raton.
According to South Florida Tea Party Chairman Everett Wilkinson, Trump leads every Tea Party poll as a favorite presidential candidate for 2012. Trump is expected to talk about his thoughts on how to get the country moving again, and the need for further tax reduction. Worth more than $2.7 billion, Trump is known worldwide as a successful businessman, and also for his participation in the reality hit tv show "The Apprentice," which is going on its 11th season.
Without Palin, the rest of the GOP field before Trump was pretty sad.
Bachmann was the only remotely acceptable choice, but Trump changes everything, he will never generate the crowds that Palin would have, but I believe that he can beat Obama.
The poll finds support breaks down among the candidates like this:
Trump: 26 percent
Huckabee: 17 percent
Romney: 15 percent
Newt Gingrich: 11 percent
Sarah Palin: 8 percent
Ron Paul: 5 percent
Michele Bachmann: 4 percent
Tim Pawlenty: 4 percent
I see Donald as another Ross Perot. Like Ross, if he doesn’t get his way he’ll go independent and split the vote. He may appear to be in the lead because nobody else has declared yet. He’s making the most waves and spraying the most light into the heavens so he’s attracting attention. The media will flurry around and tear at him while ignoring the (hopefully) real candidates for a while. Donald may serve to wear down some of the media propaganda machine and force the administration to reveal some of its tactics and possibly spend their money.
Chihuahua Romney, on the other hand, :
I’d vote for Trump. As long as worthless Romney keeps moving further down on the list.
Available choices
I’ll say one more thing about The Donald. I watched his interview last night on Hannity. He said, because of this nightmare we have had to endure under Obama, he felt he had to do something....we all feel that way. He has the means and it is better that he at least try than sit back and do nothing but bitch. Whatever you may think about him he is an American and America has been very good to him as well as all of us. There are many out there not just pure conservatives that feel this way.
It’s really a shame...he’s so NOT a principled conservative, which is what we need, like Allen West or Marco Rubio. The only reason people like him is that he’s challenging Obama on the birth certificate issue and he’s not afraid to do it. But that’s not a basis to choose a president. He’d better get up to speed fast on the Constitution and policy issues, because when he’s not talking about things he knows - like money and real estate - he can sound pretty lame. Still, I’d vote for anyone over Obama...and I love that bastard being called out finally.
I look for Larry the Cable Guy to declare his candidacy soon in a bid to capture the votes of all the Freepers and tea partiers who see Trump as being too much of an east coast elitist.
I love what Trump is saying, his energy, his fight, his attacks on Barry, especially the nativity story. He’s the only Republican in the field with this energy.
But he is also on record supporting universal health care and saying Bush was the worst President in history and should be impeached.
I don’t know if I can trust him. (not that I can trust Huck, Romney, Newt, etc)
There is no race yet, just the one the lame stream media is trying to get going. The media is trying to identify the targets for the satanic opposition.
Does anyone really believe Trump will run for President?
The Donald loves the spotlight and that is good for him financially, but actually being president is a whole another story that I can’t imagine happening.
