It works for me. If one of the “others” wants to break out then good for them. My bet, at this moment in time, is that our primary will be topped by Trump, Pawlenty and Rommel (er, Romney), among Independents—the ones who will decide the 2012 race.
If he runs and the polls shoe him close to the top, you’ll hear “He should step down. He’s only going to get obama re-elected”.
