PPP poll: Trump totally running away with this GOP race now
Hot Air ^ | April 14, 2011 | ALLAHPUNDIT

I don’t know what’s left to say about polls like this that I haven’t already said, so follow that last link if you missed it the first time around. Today’s funsies: Trump 26, Huckabee 17, Romney 15, Gingrich 11, Palin 8.

Only 38% of Republican primary voters say they’re willing to support a candidate for President next year who firmly rejects the birther theory and those folks want Mitt Romney to be their nominee for President next year. With the other 62% of Republicans- 23% of whom say they are only willing to vote for a birther and 39% of whom are not sure- Donald Trump is cleaning up. And as a result Trump’s ridden the controversy about Barack Obama’s place of birth to the highest level of support we’ve found for anyone in our national GOP polling so far in 2011…

Among that 23% only willing to vote for a birther Trump is cleaning up even more, getting 37% to 13% for Huckabee and Palin, and 10% for Romney and Gingrich. He’s a lot weaker with the 38% who say they’re perfectly happy to vote for someone who’s dismissed the birther theory- with them Romney leads at 23%, with Huckabee at 18%, Trump at 17%, Gingrich at 10%, and Palin at only 7%.

Donald Trump and real Americans are PROOFERS.

They want to see the REAL BIRTH CERTIFICATES of
ineligibles like Obama and Chihuahua Romney.

Which is why Romney attacks patriot Trump over and over.

Romney on Obama: 'The citizenship test has been passed'

Romney - the Magic RINO:
"I'm not running as the Republican view
or a continuation of Republican values.
That's not what brings me to the race.

(Romney Video, accessed 9/19/07)

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party
over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged
to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support.
Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates
wouldn't make any sense at all.""

I have severe doubts about Mr. Trump’s sincerity and a lack of confidence that he will actually pursue conservative policies if elected.

The truly scary thing is that Huckabee is #2.

Who are these people who like that guy as a nominee?

Is Trump pro-abortion? How about his stance on gay marriage? Anyone know?

While I don’t believe that in the long run Trump will be a serious candidate I am hoping that either intentionally or unintentionally he will push idiot distractions like mitt the twit and the huckster out of the GOP race.

Yeah and which ONE of those the RINO's who have indicated they are interested in seeking the Presidency do you TRUST WILL "actually pursue conservative policies, if elected?"

Better yet, which ONE would you consider a "Conservative?"

I await your response with bated breath!!!

I’d say they’re decent people who don’t know all the poop on Huck. I didn’t. And when I would ask anti-Huck FReepers to back their claims, I didn’t get answers. After doing some of my own research, I saw the error of my ways. So how many evangelical followers of Huck are going to do that? Maybe 3%? Less? They’re good people. They just don’t know, and they’re insufficiently motivated or skilled or both to find out for themselves. We have to help them, not berate them, IMHO.

But, we were told over and over again that this issue of Obama's birth certificate and eligibility was such a losing issue.... Sarcasm...

Those who are in the " Kook Fringe " are those who believe that Obama is legit.

I know he’s against abortion and gay marriage and that’s good I especially like his America first rhetoric but I have questions regarding his position on the second amendment and illegal immigration. I am hoping he can assure us that we have nothing to worry about as far as a second AWB or amnesty type bill are concerned. If he can shore up any doubts about his commitment to the above four issues, I think he can lay the question of his conservative credibility to rest and win the primary in a landslide while still giving him room to maneuver in the general when it comes time to win over independents and moderates. He gives us what we want and we give him what he wants. That’s a win-win business arrangement. If we go against him, well...that’s probably a lose-lose scenario. my humble opinion.

I think what people like about Trump is he’s not afraid to offend the president or MSM. If nothing else, the guy has the balls to go with his mouth..You don’t get where he is by being a mealy mouth wuss...like most male republicans...

The only people who will HATE Trump and NEVER vote for him are rinos and obama worshippers. And that’s what’s wrong with this country. There are too many rinos and obama worshippers. And no matter what happens, there always will be.

What would you like it to be?

With “The Donald” now the Republican’s can ride unicorns, just like the Dhimmicrats do.
