Don’t forget about this beaut of a story that CNN told us as to the fate of the “long form”
“During a CNN interview Lou Dobbs was told by Obama supporter Roland Martin eight years ago Hawaii destroyed Barack Obama’s long form birth certificate.”
But then Joe Klein, CNN President kindly clarified all that with this (Hawaii has gone “PAPERLESS”):
CNN President Joe Klein has reportedly sent emails to staff members of CNN’s highest rated show, The Lou Dobbs Show, telling them, “this story is dead,” referring to the questions that continue to plague President Obama regarding his failure to produce a valid birth certificate. The email came just days after Lou Dobbs held a segment on the issue.
But what has been missed in coverage of Klein’s email is the explaination he gives as to why this story is “dead”. In the email he writes:
[Klein] asked researchers to dig into the question of why Obama couldn’t produce the original birth certificate. The researchers contacted the Hawaii Health Dept. and confirmed that paper documents were discarded in 2001 when the department went paperless. That reportedly includes Pres. Obama’s original birth certificate.

Welcome to the new media. Those “nuts on the net” have equal access to public discourse as any newspaper or old media.
Only government would think “going paperless” = “throw all the old crap out.”
What we need is for someone who was born around the same time in Hawaii to test it by requesting their birth certificate. We need several people born within a couple months of him to request birth certificates to test them out and expose them. Everything should have been transferred to microfiche before discarding the paper copies. The reason they don’t have it is, it doesn’t exist. He wasn’t really born there and they know it. If it existed, they’d produce it and end the argument.
They just haven’t produced one yet that wouldn’t be Freeped ala Dan Rather’s superscripted falsification. They know that as soon as the forgery is released, someone would recognize a flaw in it and rip them a new one.
Klein lied for his little god-man and forced Lou Dobbs to repeat the lie. Now Klein is trying to slough the blame off on someone else. Such a leader don’tchaknow! *spit*
