A Third Party is NOT the Answer

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: This is Jason in Atlanta. Great to have you on the program, sir. You are up first.

CALLER: Hey, Rush. It's an honor to talk to you, man.

RUSH: Thanks.

CALLER: Hey listen, man, I am outraged with Boehner and I'm outraged with this old guard Republican. I mean, I'm telling you, I'm livid to the point I e-mailed Boehner yesterday and told him he would never get a dime from me again. I'll never support the Republican Party again.

RUSH: Well --

CALLER: These guys... Boehner was on Hannity yesterday, Rush, saying he fought like a dog for this $38 billion. Fought like a dog. And now we're finding out that it's not even in the billions, we're talking millions.

RUSH: Yeah. Yeah.

CALLER: And I'm trying to figure out at what point, Rush, do we say this party's rotgut from the inside and we've gotta break from it, maybe get behind the Tea Party, a third party. Maybe get behind the FairTax, do something that's gonna make a difference.

RUSH: You don't want a third party. What we want to do is (ah, I'm not particularly crazy about the phrase, but) "take over" the Republican Party. Look, I know John Boehner. I played golf with John Boehner. He's a fine man. I want everybody to know that. It's unfortunate that he's being (sighs) not "slurred," but he's coming in for it. I mean, he's getting his share of criticism as events unfold and information is gleaned. He's a fine man, folks. He's what we would all say in the common parlance, is a good guy. I think that different forms of leadership. You got caretaker, you have aggressive. In this case, I don't know for certain what the objective of the leadership is.

Best I can tell, they don't really think they've won anything. If you had to nail me down, if you had to pin me down to try to get me to explain this -- my wild guess would be that if we could get in their heads -- they don't think they've won anything yet, and they're not gonna act like it. When Boehner says we are, what, "one half of one-third," that's not the kind of talk you get from people who think they've won something. You and I think we had a shellacking win in November. But they don't. They don't think they won anything, yet. Plus there's in natural fear. I've explained it. I don't have time to go into it again. There's this natural fear of Democrats, the media, and Obama specifically in the Beltway.

Rush is an ‘establishment’ Republicrat like Hannity.

Time to upset the establishment and run certified ‘Tea Party’ candidates. This nation looks more and more like Madrid in 1936.

Before there can be a 3rd party; there has to be 2nd party. I see no significant difference between Republican & Democrat; they different sides of the same coin.

A third, forth and fifth parties is the answer. Sign up and pay membership dues if you wish, register to vote without having to specify party membership, it’s NOBODY’S business, stop using taxes to fund party primaries, it’s the parties’ business.

A Third Party isn’t the answer, nor is a fourth or fifth, or the myriads of parties that exist. Rush is right. It’s time for the Tea Party to take over the Republican Party. A good start has been made, but it needs to go a lot further. Give the establishment and their Pelosi friends on the left nightmares. They will never worry about the guys running in the other parties or as independents.

Then he’s the wrong guy for the leadership position. If anyone acts out of this fear then it is an automatic vote against any individual for Republican leadership.

The Tea Party could out-shine the RATS and Rinos. Just sayin’.

“I see no significant difference between Republican & Democrat; they different sides of the same coin.”

Rush played a tape of none other than Nancy Pelosi on yesterday’s show, and she said the same thing, confirming what a lot of people think, i.e., that there is no difference. She encouraged the GOP to get rid of the Tea Pary so the ‘rats and GOP could be on the same page.

“Ya gotta have Two parties, before ya can have three!”

Brilliant!!

I thought we had a second party , but the RINOs are still there.

And I’m not voting for RINOS.........EVAH!

So even though I like Rush, I’m going for the Tea Party.

Well, true. We don’t need a third party candidate, like Trump or Ron Paul.

But we may need to turn to a SECOND party candidate, like Sarah Palin.

What’s the difference? A third party candidate is a spoiler. But every 150 years or so, a traditional party is liable to go belly up, like the Whigs. Then you get a new Second party.

I think we’ve reached that point. It can’t be done by your typical third party spoiler candidate. But if the Republicans don’t straighten out—and it doesn’t look like they will—then they can be REPLACED FOR GOOD BY A SECOND PARTY.

That can only be done by a powerful and trustworthy leader. Like Abraham Lincoln did for the Republicans. And like I think Sarah Palin—and no one but Sarah Palin—can do for whatever name the Tea Party chooses to go under.

El Rushbo is right.

I think the dims are trying to divide our forces. Let’s not help them.

I suspect Trump may play into their hands.

The time to take out the RINOs is in the Primary. Get involved!

We are going to have to be the ones who support the THIRD party because big business won’t jump in until they get a history line that they can compare to their interests.

A third Party, whether or not it split the Republicans, who cares, enables an independent voice outside of Washington DC. Three, four, or more, parties can always subsequently form alliances; but we need outside voices, on the stage in debates, quoted in the Media, initiating their own media, and in elections.

How can one possibly be "afraid" of Barack Obama, or the truly ruthless scum (GS, JP Morgan, Dimon, Finkbein, Hollywood) who finance him, if one is selfless and concerned for our nation? Don't soldiers do something significantly more serious every day?

Let us give an example:

On a current thread's posting, Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan, threatened the US Government if the debt ceiling was not raised. Now, Reince Priebus, of the GOP, did you hear that? Did you record that? Did you expose that to all in your domain; that a private banking organization is extorting the US federal government? Are you going to leverage and announce this extortion to the voting public, whereby gaining well over 70% of the common man's empathy, and most likely votes?

I didn't think so!

And there are those who think we shouldn't have a third party?

I love ya, Rush ... but didn't you pretty much just describe a "country-club RINO"?
