Compromise.
Cobbling together a bi-partisan vote of middle of the road Republicans and Democrats,
Speaker John Boehner was able to pass the controversial 2011 budget compromise.
But clearly, one quarter of one half of one third of government is upset.
Fifty-nine Republicans voted against the measure, a sign that many conservatives are still disappointed that their leadership was not able to negotiate steeper spending cuts. Thats also more than the 54 Republicans who voted against a three-week spending resolution in March over complaints that more dramatic spending reductions were not made.
In a slap to President Obamas political face,
108 Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi, also voted against the bill.
So although the bill officially passed in the House, 260-167, Few are pleased with the Obama/Boehner budget compromise.
The 59 Republicans:
Adams, Amash, Bachmann, Bartlett, Barton (TX), Blackburn, Broun (GA), Chabot, Chaffetz, Cravaack, Duncan (SC), Duncan (TN), Flake, Fleming, Forbes, Franks (AZ), Gardner, Garrett, Gingrey (GA), Gowdy, Graves (GA), Griffith (VA), Harris, Heller, Huelskamp, Huizenga (MI), Hurt, Johnson (IL), Jordan, King (IA), Kingston, Labrador, Lamborn, Long, Mack, McClintock, McCotter , McHenry, Miller (MI), Mulvaney, Neugebauer , Paul, Pearce, Pence, Poe (TX), Quayle, Rehberg, Rigell, Ross (FL), Schmidt, Schweikert, Scott (SC), Southerland, Stutzman, Tipton, Walsh (IL) , West, Wilson (SC) , Yoder
But, of course, "we'll really fight hard on the next battle."
This is the first site I came across listing the 59 Republicans who voted against this turkey.
59 GOP have not yet been assimilated.
but but but Bachmann didn’t know Concord MA from Concord NH
but but but Paul is a “kook”
I’ll vote for either of these two for President over ANY other politician.
And don’t give me that anti-war crap about Paul. All I have to say is Iraq, Afg, and Libya how’s that working out for us?
Get this Kennedy RINO out of there and clean the wine bottles out from under the seat.
They should have ALL voted against it. This would have led to a shut down of government which would have gotten them serious about dealing with the excess spending and the increased debt over the last 4 years.
Senator Toomey (PA)...your phone is ringing.
BEYOND
APALLING
LEADERSHIP
Crap, my congresscritter voted for this BS. I think he is bucking for a leadership position from the Weeper of the House.

the yellow illustrates the amount of political courage found in the District of Corruption.
Morgan Griffith, VA-9, who beat Rick Boucher, is among the 59 this time.
McCotter tends to vote in favor of unions.
Just goes to show you that they’re all over the place.
I called his Houston office and let them know Pete wil not to be reelected and that I'll be supporting the T.E.A. Party candidate when the time comes.
Hey, "Wicked Witch of the West", you are now nothing but a
Come to think of it, there are a fair number of people within SF County that don't care what you think, either. Go retire to your non-union winery with the illegal immigrant employees, will ya?
He sounds good does’t work.
(Hi P6!) Grrrr...Tim Murphy voted for this. I shall be placing a phone call tomorrow.
Boehner gets spanked on the bottom by an illegal alien, community organizer with approval ratings in the mid 30's Hey! tough guy! Over here!
Never trust a middle aged man who has a lifetime membership at a DC tanning salon.
Actually, the Illegal Alien got spanked WAAAAY harder than Boehner.
More than one half of his caucus voted against. hehe.
I'll gladly give it to you.
Ron Paul is an anti-American POS who is quick to point to defense cuts before anything else comes out of his mouth, cept for his blaming America for the Islamic Caliphate.
Ron Paul thinks America can be defended by just two submarines. Ron Paul likes pork barrel money, while blowing the smoke up the asses of fools who think he is a living Founder from the early days.
Ron Paul is friends with Alex Jones, who he frequently appears with. Look it up if you don't already know who this Anarchists/(911 inside job kook) is.
As far as Iraq and Afghanistan goes, who is our "commander" in chief again? Like I have asked other Paulhroids on this forum, I'll ask you, where is the support amongst "neo-cons" for action in Libya? I have yet to see on this forum any support for action in Libya, unless it is support for killing Kaddaffi.
Ron Paul and those who support him are fools.
Bachmann, Paul; “Ill vote for either of these two for President over ANY other politician.”
I agree. I would, too.
