The African race was used by those who supported pan-African ideals. See:
Not really troll-bot.
Then you must be arguing that Obama was born in Africa! Because if Obama was born in the US of A in 1961, he would have been classified one of the races highlighted in yellow below. The 1961 regulations of Federal Vital Statistic of these United States:
I was truthful in sharing information and you call me a liar for pointing out that some Africans indeed considered African their race.
Oh sure you are. We all believe you. /total sarcasm.
he must be sweating. You’re shooting him down one time after another. He’s being proved 100% wrong over and over.
It’s pretty fun to watch.
Boom! Nice post.
There are specific options on government forms. You can’t call yourself whatever race you want or make up what you prefer.
“Africans referred to themselves as Africans... on government forms...”
The dad wasn’t even there at the time of the birth, right? He’s being flown off at the airport with Mr. Dunham smiling. At least that’s the nativity story.
So out of state Barrack Sr. names his son “Barack” the 2nd (who was the first?) and lists “African” as the race when it’s not even an option on the form?
??
The issue isn't Obama's racial classification. It's his father's. Kenyans in 1961 were proud of their continent and were looking forward to being cut loose from the British Commonwealth. So, it's hardly surprising that BHO, Sr. thought of his race as African
.
And what makes you think the 1961 regulations of Federal Vital Statistic of these United States
cut any at the Hawaii Department of Health?
“Umm African is reference to a continent not a race. “
You say that about “Asian” as well? NO?!?!
“Then you must be arguing that Obama was born in Africa! “
Nope. You are confusing father and son. “African” was NOT Barack Obama Jr’s race, it was Barack Obama Seniors race - his Dad. Yes, his Dad was born and was an African, and apparently considered his race “African”, as he self-described that on the birth certificate - “African race” was used many other Africans, in particular those attracted to pan-African ideals.
If you are looking for some proof of forgery, look elsewhere. that one is lame-o.
