I believe Washington Republicans, in their heart of hearts, really want to be baby-killing, troop-spittin', end-take-home-pay Democrats. They cave so easily on every issue it's breathtaking. I honestly believe the only reason any of them sound "tough" (how tough can you be wearing pink pantaloons?) is because there's cameras everywhere now and they have to be careful. I think all Washington Republicans had Lewinsky fantasies about Clinton, and now admire Barack Obama and want to carry his love-child.
Maybe I'm being pessimistic, but you have to wonder why the GOP has caved so easily and so soon after such a monster landslide in the November elections. At least the 1995 GOP congress didn't cave until Clinton used the OKC bombings to launch his re-election.

This was not a speech designed for America to win the future... To the contrary sir, it was a perfect example of the "WTF" approach that Barack Obama uses all the time. And why does any grown-up expect actual leadership or cooperation from Barack Obama? He is still just the coolest kid in junior high, and his friends want to get him re-elected as class president.

I know the freeloaders who are “experts” at listening to speeches will say this was the greatest speech in the history of the universe. I really didn’t see it that way. I saw a very angry, Marxist black man who hates America.

I do whatever is possible to avoid listening to obama. Yesterday I had to turn off Rush.
I’ve been watching Turner Classic Movies at night for a distraction, or baseball, or NCIS, etc.
Washington has become the Enemy of the People. Is there really a question of where it goes from here...?

Eventually the Republicans in DC have to UNDERSTAND that they are absolutely HATED by this president, who would much rather put them in jail (or worse), if he could figure out a way. The only reason he invites them is to make them look like IDIOTS when they show up.
At some point, the Republicans need to get together with each other, put a decent budget together, release it to the media and the public, tell the Dems to get it through the Senate, tell Obama to sign it, and so that’s it. If Obama doesn’t like it, we’ll negotiate later...starting a month after the shutdown. News sometimes travels slowly, but eventually the Republicans will be told that THEY WON in November and the country is SICK of the antics of Obama and the Democrats.
...eventually they may get that news...maybe.

Why did these Simpleton Republican’s sit in the front row and accept these blistering attacks? They became willing participants in the con job, when they didn’t respond, react, or push back.
I would have walked out of there pronto, and yelled a few things at the JackA$$ in Chief as I was leaving.

This was nothing more than a speech delivered ala his SOU speech last year when he publicly jammed it up the backsides of the supreme court...Barry loves to dictate and to wee wee on his opponents making them a public spectacle. I cannot believe those three dolts were dumb enough to show up to be publicly ridiculed by this undeserving jerk. Too bad we don't allow throwing of shoes at detestable speakers like this. When the GOP finally gets the Nancy Reagan idiom: Just say no, call me. Till then, they are as impotent as a gelding.
