It sounds like hes making an historic reference, in which case, under God was not in the Pledge back then.
Harry is playing games and trying to show his supporters, in his own sneaky way, how clever and intellectual he is...what a puke. History has nothing to do with it - Harry wants to undermine the very idea of God in the public forum for his own purposes.

No, he’s referencing the Civil War and referring to a short section of the pledge related to the unity of the nation. “Under God” isn’t relevant to his point, so he left it out. WTF is the big deal?
